Hey Ben, Thanks for recording Airiel! It sounds hella swell except for when you were farting during the vocal recordings. And all the gunshots from your ghetto. Anyway, peace in the hood or something, and don't take any wooden nipples.

Well it has been awhile since I heard you guys (and Kate) play. If you want to send me a list of when you play in town again, just have Barry page me. You have a great sound when I last heard you. So you actually got a drummer. From what I read in the guestbook (1 or 2 lines of text) his personality has something left to be desired or, maybe not. But that isn't for me to decide, until I hear you guys (and neon girls) play again. Have you stuck with the same sound that you started off with or have you changed any? Barry needs to call me and let me know when he can do lunch. I wonder if he has updated his website recently (nope). So take it easy and ....duck!!! OH YEA, neons really impressed me over the last weekend out at IRP (Indianapolis Raceway Park). SCCA was out there for their Nationals and the neons that were out there really rocked. So I take back whatever harsh gestures or comments were made about your little, bitty car. But one thing they still have a pretty annoying logo------HI-HI-HI-HI-HI-HI-HI-HI-YO

See if you can figure it out <I have no idea>

But anyway, at the exact same time that was happening but three days later, I wandered into the Rhino Records in Montclaire. There was Husker Du, Volcano Suns, And let's not forget the Trotsky Icepick. These things make me think that I am happy. It has come to my somewhat limited attention that we constantly fool ourselves into thinking that certain things are important. For example: Every day at sixteen, I pack my briefcase and trudge off to the Dark Satanic Mills wherein I pretend to care about other people for a living. These "Other People" are often called "Customers", and they all want to take a bite out of me and the other slaves before we die. They all think that this is important, and they try to draw it out as long as possible. So after two hours, I get to go to a small holding area and inhale carcinogenic chemicals laced with nicotine. I think that I might think that this is important to me. When I have concluded the smoke ritual, I put on my "Cheery Smile" mask and make my way back into the mines to haul my bag of fuel rocks back and forth for another two hours until the smoke ritual comes around again. At zero, I am discharged and I can remove the mask, strap myself into my vehicle, and hurl myself down a large asphalt corridor at eighty miles per hour until I reach the place where I sleep. Of course, I don't sleep. Instead, I sit in front of this electronic device and write in guest logs, and read about people that have lives that they imagine are fulfilling. I am aware that I hate my life someimes. I am aware that I rot. I am aware that I will have to force myself to forget this if I am going back to the pit on Monday. I sit in front of my beloved electronic device and I write about things that are thankfully not me, and I tell myself that this too is important. Sometimes, though, I think of the different routines I run, Workself, Friendself, Acquaintanceself, Parentself, Peerself; And I am sure that there was a "Realself" there at one point, but it's been digested by the otherselves. Atrophied through lack of us e. There is no conspiracy of silence. There is no reason to think that everyone else is not exactly the same. .... And sometimes, I just watch T.V. "CHiP's", mostly.

Okay, I give up. We won't wake up. But that doesn't mean that we can't have meaningless relationships with people we really don't know. Some days, Harv just sits on the couch looking out the window, hoping to catch a glimpse of someone that he can imagine he really sees. Just when we think we have identified the real five o'clock hero, the ghost of Cain rears his pretty head. In fifteen minutes, it all will make sense. In fifteen minutes, it all will make sense. And I know I know I know about wiring and gel-ignite and timing devices and airport security procedures. And somewhere, sometime, somebody will look back and remember this thing and it will live again in their children. Uh-huh.... Yup-a-roo.

Here is a hint. The band's name rhymes with a dirty word and they are on Equal Vision. This is a public domain thing so I'd figure I'd make an ass of myself, since that's what public is for. Just kidding. Actually, Russell bought your tape, and it's very, very nice. Russell said it was 10 years too late, but I don't think that matters, as it is still pretty cool. BUY.

I think you guys are really cool, just because you seem to love what you`re doing. Your music is kinda cool too, but I think you should look for a real drummer... That would probably give your band a more realistic image and even a better sound. I am the lead singer and guitar player of a rock band named "Phantom", and I am also starting a new project called "Astral". If you`re interested in playin´ in Colombia with us, just send me an e-mail. I have contacts within Bogota´s local bars & clubs

Hi. I was just messing around on the net & I found your page. I looked up sunflowers, because I have an infatuation with them. Then, when I looked into it more, I could not help it but cry. Two years ago, I lost my best friend in a car accident. Her name was Ginger. Since she has gone, my entire town of about 9,000 has never been the same. She was the greatest person I've ever known. And, to this day, sunflowers represent her. At her grave, there a millions of beautiful, bright sunflowers everywhere. I think that this coincidence is totally ironic, and I would like to hear some of your music sometime (Especially Ginger). Please feel free to write me back...It would mean a lot to me.
